23 – 25 SEPTEMBER 2026

11th International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in Ionising Radiation Research

RICOMET 2026 is scheduled to take place in Prague from 23 to 25 September 2026.

About RICOMET

The RICOMET conference is the annual meeting point for social sciences and humanities (SSH) communities engaging critically and constructively with issues related to ionising radiation across domains, technologies, and societal contexts. The conference attracts a very wide range of representatives of international institutions/organizations including public communication experts, media representatives, journalists, researchers from social sciences, humanities and natural sciences, radiation protection officers, nuclear medicine practitioners, nuclear industry professionals, nuclear safety authorities, as well as NGO’s and representatives of the civil society.

This year’s conference theme is “Reflecting on Nuclear Renaissance in a Changing World” as RICOMET 2026 seeks to explore how SSH research can illuminate, question and inform these transformations.
